Hello fellow clan members,

With this post I would like to inform you about the current state of our humble community. Now I have not talked to any of the clan owners yet, but I would like to give my opinion on a certain topic.

Now, as you most likely noticed -unless you have been living under a rock- for the past 7 months the clan's activity has drastically declined. I have got a few theories on why this has occurred. But first I would like to tell you about the clan's situation from my perspective the last 1,5 years.

It all started when battlefield 3 came out. (It actually started earlier when bf2: sandbox became less active, but never mind that for now) As battlefield came out there became a bigger gap between people. Some where able to run the game and some where not. In the beginning of the bf3 epoch it seemed like there were no major issues, yet the people with PC's that could not handle the bf3 already stated that the gap between certain people became bigger. The clan was split in two groups. The people that played bf3 and the people who could not handle the game. The group that couldn't play bf3 played other games instead, minecraft for most. We expanded our gamelist. After some time the bf3 group stagnated and steadily declined in activity. The reasoning for this occurance was probably because bf3 became just too boring. So now we have this group that plays games such as minecraft and a group that plays barely anything. Their activity slowly declined, people left and others got kicked. There was still enough activity in the clan itself though. But slowly and steadily I saw the roster getting shorter and shorter. People such as ostrich became less active, and soon after that loads of other followed, including me. I was playing other games back then with either clan and ex-clan members. I think others were doing the same thing. The clan scattered in even tinnier fragments. And with that activity reduced. Then there was this summer break, a large gap in the middle of the year. If your bridge is not strong enough in the beginning people will fall down the gap, and never seen again. After summer break we tried to repair this bridge, but as you know, building something requires a lot of teamwork and dedication. Something we did not have at the time. Most people gave up, and the roster became even shorter. Until eventually the amount of people stagnated yet activity became almost non existent. I was waiting it out, waiting until someone would talk about this case. But it did not happen. I was too lazy to do it myself as well. But here I am, doing what I, us had to do 2 to 3 months ago.

At the moment stormhawk is really trying to shine by planning events. He is doing a great job but I fear that we have by far exceeded the limits. Things are not going to be the way they used to be. In my eyes this clan is already been doomed. Any efforts in keeping us connected to each other is most likely just a waste of time and energy. It is good that certain people don't give up, if only we had more of them. The people that are currently in the clan are probably the only true clanmembers.

With this thread I would like to know what your opinion is about the current situation. I will promise that I will read each and every post deeply.

I have just ordered a Minecraft-server! I should have some more info later, I'll keep you posted.

That's all I can do: order things, so I need someone to manage it.
Managing means:
- Install and maintain the server
- Install mods
- Moderate people
- Keep the peace
- Be on the server as much as possible

Perks of managing are:
- total control of the server, do pretty much whatever you like.
