yup i think its just so you dont need to save the game on your computer, like you have saves on your computer. instead its on battlelog so you can continue singleplayer wherever you are on any computer

To answer your question:
you say that Valve gets money from games that are being sold via Steam and also they are able to control the game-industry. GotLocked says that BF3 didn't release their game on Steam because, among others, they couldn't do anything they want with Battlefield 3 otherwise. This is very much related to what you said.

What you said wasn't related ( or at least: I can't find the relation ) to what Coperaxe said, which was that Battlelog saves your progress on the internet. However, you say: "Do you think that, Coperaxe?" which heralds some contradiction. However, there is none in your reply.
