So, this thread is here for you to decide what happens with the Minecraft server.  Post back and tell us your ideas, as wacky as they may be, and once we get enough ideas we will compile them into a list.

No plots please. And I'd like a fully Survival world, where everyone is survival, instead of like normal servers where the admins fly around a lot and cheat items

Legit survival gameplay world. I'm tired of servers where half play legit and the other keep ruining it by spawning stuff.

A creative world maybe, and this is where the plots should be (not in survival mode).

i tranfair my server to the new one

we make it like this

on survival we have plots you can use but you are also free to play everywore
on creative plots is the best way ore els you get chaos of structures
and on event
event stuff and the carrier

 - Creative: Terraform the landscape, Build awesome castles 'n stuff. (Deffinitely no plots, they are ugly as hell and require a shitload of administration. there are no griefers in DDFS.)

 - Survival: Keep it vanilla, no stupid shops and random structures.

Daan's idea seems fine. We can require people to apply for building-right, though, just like now with DoubleCraft.

I like lockette and worldguard because the server is not whitelisted but /home is a bit cheaty.

Well, me and double can start setting up the server now. But we need a finalized list of what people want.
