Was there a competition between then? I think more about people saying in comments: INTEL ROCKS!!, NO AMD IS CHEAPER!! so more about customers I think?

Ive done soooo much research, and Intel-Nvidia is what Ive decided on.

Im a bit late but, I have AMD-Nvidia.
Works great, but my Athlon 6000+ at 4.0Ghz causes a slight bottleneck. But I have to buy a new motherboard if I want the newer, more powerfull cpu's. And then I have to replace more stuff, thats why im saving for a new pc.

BTW unless you are gone work with pic and vids you dont need any more than I-5

Yes yes but seeing as my job is going nowhere, I might be in a few years, and having the extra headroom with an Extreme from Intel is reassuring and comforting.

Although I do wish that AMD would've made their 8 core comparable, or even better, than a 3960x, which is what im getting.

The 8 core looks good on the cover, not so good when you see that it only really competes with an i3.

Update, Im going to go with a combo of AMD and Nvidia,

Simply for some reasons:

1. The FX 8120 is VERY reasonably priced for a lot of power. Im locked on, so yah.

2. Im getting a GTX 670, VERY reasonably priced and alot of power. Im going to be running FXAA and all the other AAs and everything maxed. And with the money I saved on CPU i could get the GPU.

3. The GTX 670 has something called "Adaptive V-Sync" which is a problem I had on my old video cards. It also has a 256 bit memory bus for the AA's, which the 660ti doesnt have. It has 192 bit.

4. And the entire build cost? About $2200 bucks, when I was aiming for $2500 :3 WITH SHIPPING. And by the time I get it, itll most likely be lower. Tax not included, dont worry though.

Full parts listed on main topic. Lemme hear some feedback there!
